GeoSim Technologies has completed another Air Tractor AT-802 Fire Boss simulator, this time for an established New South Wales aerial firefighting operator with extensive domestic and international experience.
The operator maintains a significant Air Tractor AT-802 and Fire Boss capability, supporting aerial firefighting operations throughout Australia as well as major seasonal deployments to Europe.
Its Fire Boss aircraft are currently supporting the 2026 European wildfire season in Greece, where Australian pilots, engineers and support personnel are working alongside local authorities in demanding operational conditions.
The amphibious Fire Boss is designed for rapid water-scooping and repeated fire attack, placing considerable demands on pilot proficiency, situational awareness and emergency preparedness.
GeoSim’s new simulator provides a safe and cost-effective environment in which pilots can practise aircraft handling, emergency procedures and specialised aerial firefighting operations without placing operational aircraft or crews at risk.
The project further strengthens GeoSim’s position in Air Tractor and specialist aerial firefighting simulation, supporting operators whose aircraft and crews are actively engaged in frontline firefighting operations in Australia and internationally.
