GeoSim’s 4-metre DOME Visual System delivers an immersive 260° × 60° field of view, giving pilots the peripheral vision essential for aerial firefighting, agricultural aviation, low-level and special-mission training.
Using three 4K projection channels, specialized mirrors and advanced image-warping technology, GeoSim has created a lightweight, high-quality visual system capable of operating from a single high-performance computer—reducing complexity and cost.
The cockpit can be positioned deep inside the DOME, increasing immersion while minimizing shadowing. The complete simulator, DOME and instructor station can typically fit within a room of approximately 5 m × 5 m.
