When Aircraft Simulator Training (AST), one of Texas’s leading general aviation training organisations, needed a dedicated Cessna 414 simulator, GeoSim was given an unusual challenge — reproduce the aircraft accurately using photographs and technical information as the primary references.
GeoSim designed, manufactured and delivered the bespoke simulator on time and on budget, creating a highly realistic training platform specifically suited to AST’s demanding recurrent and emergency training programs.
For an organisation that specializes in Twin Cessna training and places particular emphasis on engine failures and emergencies that cannot safely be practiced in the aircraft, realism matters. AST’s Rick McGuire described the finished GeoSim simulator as “first class,” praising its realism, reliability and performance.
The Cessna 414 project demonstrates one of GeoSim’s core strengths:
