Company Profile

At the beginning of 2002 a consortium was formed between Aviation Australia (Qld Government organisation) and two private companies to develop an economically priced entry-level Rotary Wing Part Task Trainer. The project was successfully completed in August 2002 and demonstrated shortly thereafter at the Aviation Careers Expo held in Brisbane , Australia .

The second component of phase one of the project was the modification of the Trainer to meet the Australian Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA) standards and in February 2004 the GeoSim Synthetic Trainer was accredited with FSD2 cat B status.

Phase Two of the project was the development of a Fixed Wing variation of the Rotary Wing Part Task Trainer. This was successfully completed early in 2005.

Today, GeoSim offers 'off the shelf' and individually tailored (and CASA accredited) aviation and transportation synthetic training devices to the world at large, maintaining our initial price/performance model, i.e. value for money.
